BRENDA KELLY - Vox/Guitar/Ukelele

Brenda Lee Kelly is a singer-songwriter and performs in Scarlett Road as well as Waiting for Brenda and KiddnKelly Gang.  She recently released an album of 11 tracks with her originals band "Waiting for Brenda". She has also recorded her music with Wayward Angels and KiddnKelly Gang and her song 'Lonesome Girl' was included in the Australian Ukelele Volume one compilation release. She has been a finalist multiple times with the Tamworth Songwriting Awards (TSA) and Australian Songwriters Association (ASA). Brenda has been with Scarlett Road since its formation and loves a diverse range of music which she brings to the varied set list of Scarlett Road.

ANNE-MARIE LAWTON - Double Bass/Vox

Anne-Marie is a founding member of Scarlett Road and her double bass “Charlie” keeps the band in steady rhythm with the deep resounding notes only a double bass can produce. Before Scarlett Road, Anne-Marie was a member of Wayward
Angels and the KiddnKelly Gang and previously recorded album releases with these bands. She is also a founding member of a hillbilly, bluegrass band called Mullet Gut String Band and has been performing as a singer/guitarist in this band for the past 8 years. 

HELEN MATHESON - Banjo/Vox

Helen is the newest member of the band, joining them in June 2022 as banjo player.  Helen has been involved with music all her life but only started playing the banjo 5 years ago when she retired and had some time to play.  She is also manager of The Jazz Kings and is based on the Gold Coast. Helen has 3 different banjos, the one she plays most is a Bellbird made by Peter Nahuysen in Brisbane.  She also has a pre-war Gibson called Warwick and a 2002 Gibson Mastertone. She also plays guitar and ukulele.
